Alden Needs Some Help

This is my dad. Alden. Anyone who knows him would tell you he's just a great guy.  In fact, I hear that so often, it makes me roll my eyes.  He has this super power. When staring in the face of the most difficult of situations, he can extract goodness.  Then he takes that goodness and projects it into the world as positivity. It's quite inspirational to watch what he can do with, excuse my mouth, a pile of just total shit. 

Alden was exposed to his kryptonite, ranitidine, resulting in esophageal cancer.  Super power engaged.  Among the demons he has slain-- pneumonia, a hiatal hernia, chemo, radiation, an esophagectomy.   Over the last year, a nemesis has been lurking around every corner.  Over the course of this relentless battle, Alden's super power has not been compromised.  Through it all, he has projected goodness and positivity.

The aftermath of conquering these demons has left what feels like insurmountable wreckage. Dad has had a gazillion and a half tests and scans. He's spent weeks in the hospital, several of those days in the ICU. There has been countless doctor visits.  Fifteen hours of surgery. Blood transfusions.... The financial burdens rings, literally rings on the phone, constantly.

We need to call on the help of superheros like you.  We need your help to vanquish this battle.
