Alcomindras ʻohana emergency needs and Rebuild

My name is Kuʻulei (Alcomindras) Palakiko and I am starting this on behalf of my mother and sister. My mom, Fea-b-lei (Sequeira) Alcomindras and my sister Koleka Alcomindras lost everything they had in the tragic Lahaina fire a couple days ago. While we count our blessings that their lives were spared, we are facing the reality that they have NOTHING left, even my momʻs car was burned in the fire. My parents built their dream house about 50 years ago with the hopes of raising their children in it and eventually having this place as a refuge for their grandchildren. Itʻs sad that our family home, that holds so many memories of our papa, my dad, and other ʻohana and friends who have come thru our doors went up in flames and we are left with memories of aloha and a whole lot of ashes. Please find it in your heart to kōkua how you can. All funds will help in getting the necessities they need now, (they got out with some clothes and medicine) and towards rebuilding and refurnishing the home when that time comes. Mahalo nui!
