At Alchemy Salon and Spa we have always done our very best to be available for our clients and community. We stay late, come in early, come in on our days off when our clients need emergency color corrections or bang fixes. We comfort and listen to our clients when they are going through challenging times and we celebrate with them during the good times. We give first time haircuts to our clients babies and travel to hospitals to wash and or cut our clients parents or grandparents hair after or during an illness. We travel for our clients to their weddings and events, many times turning into their wedding planner, and doing way more work than was originally communicated and way too often we undercharge for our services because, well, we love our clients.
Alchemy is now asking for your help this time. Due to COVID-19, we have had to shut our doors since 3/19/2020. We weren’t concerned at first because we were told we could open up again in April. Now, we’re being told the date is up in the air, and that we might be looking at opening our doors as late as July. (Let’s hope not). We thought at first we would still take our clients. But, after further thought we realized that doing so was neither a very responsible or safe idea for the stylists or the clients. With that being said, Alchemy needs help.
For seven years Alchemy has provided employment for up to 24 employees at a time and an environment that fosters support and education for its employees. We are in the industry of caring for and servicing people, and that is why now, more than ever, this is paramount.
We realize we are all in this together, and that is why we are asking for help to keep Alchemy in business during this precarious time. 100% of the money you donate will go towards Alchemy’s payroll and open invoices. We only ask those who can afford it. If you have ever had a positive experience at Alchemy, or with a member of Alchemy’s staff, we humbly ask that you donate below to help Alchemy during these unprecedented times.
