Help us to secure stable housing after homelessness.

Hello, if you found this page - Please take a moment to consider helping us. I live in a hotel with my spouse of 18 and a half years and our two elderly cats. We moved into a hotel in November 2023 after our landlord needed to move in family during an emergency situation. A short time later were victims of a bad car accident in the beginning of 2024 which resulted in losing our 2023 kia that was nearly paid off - and my spouse injured her hand and needed surgery. to this day we are still struggling to find jobs in which she can do with her limited mobility both in her hand and her back.

After juggling my 9-5 job and instacart/ubering to make ends meet - I was approached by my job of 6 years and told I could not work from my hotel where I was living and I would need to quit or be terminated. So I lost my job.. things really spiraled. Here we are 10 months later. We are still surviving, although barely.

Every paycheck we may goes directly towards the hotel, our cats needs, or if we are lucky some additional food.

We are desperate to get out of this hotel as we are paying over 2k a month and that could be going into an apartment or even an RV! Anything would be better than this place. but it is impossible to save up, impossible to come up with a down payment to move.

So, we are humbly seeking help to simply get into an apartment or an RV. We both are working but it's not nearly enough to save up in this economy, the area we live in and the fact we live in a hotel full-time.

I know we miss our home but so do our cats. Please share this with anyone you can - we are praying that we can reach someone or someone's who may be able to help us get into stable housing so we can help ourselves.

There is a local place we qualified for however we cannot move until we come up with 1st last and security. The rent is $1350, so that is approx $4,050. Once we get into a place - we can maintain it! Also we can provide proof of hotel payment for the last 1.5 years as well. Thank you!
