Album Fundraiser for Allison August

Growing up in a family of professional musicians, Allison August  started writing songs at the tender age of 7 and always dreamed of performing and recording her own music. That dream came true as she's been a working musician her entire life. She currently plays at various venues in LA and Orange County but wanted to take it a step further. 

 
In 2014, she started working on her first solo album,  Holy Water featuring some of her musical heroes and long time musical friends. Half way through the recording, however Allison was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer. It was emotionally and physically devastating, but she pressed on and was able to finish the album through her treatment.



She has spent the past 5 years recovering from multiple surgeries and chemotherapy. In that time, she compiled a brand new album with songs inspired by her struggles with cancer and recovery. She is sincerely looking forward to sharing these new songs from the other side of her cancer diagnosis. 

Allison is seeking donations to complete her 2nd Solo Album. The money raised will go towards session musicians, production, studio time, mixing, mastering, duplication and promotional marketing of this second album. (August 2019). 



PRESS WORTHY: 
Grammy Award winning producer, Tony Braunagel  is at the helm of the new album and Allison is joined in studio by Bryan Head , Daivd J Carpenter, Phil Parlapiano , Sam Meek , Paul Barrere ,  Mike Finnigan and Billy Watts .   



On the Holy Water album, Blues great, Coco Montoya sings a duet with Allison of her song, "Witness Protection". He has also included his own version of "Witness Protection" on his upcoming Album which will soon be released on Alligator Records.
