Album Fundraiser! Don't Add To Heartache

Hi!

Our names are Tom W Green and Stephanie Lamprea – we are composers and performing musicians. This year, we created and performed a multidisciplinary nature album called Don’t Add To Heartache. We are looking for help to release the album as a commercial record!

What is Don’t Add To Heartache

In the contemporary world, is there such a thing as nature? How do we engage with it musically? This album is a wild journey through improvised and pre-written music that plays with contemporary nature. Field recordings of animals, birds and environmental sounds are blurred into live musicians imitating and expanding on these sonic starting points.

We got to work with an amazing team of artists in the creation of this album. They are

Sonia Killmann, foley art and field recordings

Stephanie Lamprea, voice and composer

Tom W. Green, live electronics, vocal sampling, and composer

The centre of this recording is taken from a live performance at the 2023 Hidden Door Festival, the organization who commissioned our work and supported the performances of our artistic team.

Why crowdfunding?

We have a record label on our team to release the album in 2024, but we need your help to make this possible. We believe the combination of artists and approach in this work is unique and impactful, and we want to share this album with as many people as we can. We can’t accomplish this on our own, and so we ask you for your help and support by donating to the costs of making this album financially possible.
