Hello lovely people!

We are Blue Cinema, a shoegaze/dreampop band from Cambridge. We're raising money to record our first full-length album, a project we're incredibly excited about, but one that isn't easy to fund independently. That's why we're asking for your help to make it happen!

Since forming in 2022, we've been lucky to become part of the UK independent music scene. We've opened for artists such as the Miki Berenyi Trio and Chastity Belt, and have shared line-ups with the fantastic Night Tapes, Dream Wife, Porij and Opus Kink, among others. Our music has been featured on DKFM and BBC Introducing, as well as being shortlisted for 'Best Alternative Act' at the NMG Awards 2024.

We're incredibly grateful for the opportunities we've had so far, and over the last few months we've been working hard to refine our sound, writing what we genuinely believe is our strongest music yet. Our new material leans further into classic shoegaze, is more keys-driven, and reflects the diverse influences of each member of the band.

Every penny raised will go directly towards recording, production and mastering. We've already started collaborating with the amazing Jake Day of Northacre Studios, whose productions have been featured on BBC Radio 1, Radio X, BBC 6 Music, Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing and international television.
