Al's Medical Fund
Donation protected
As many of you know, it has been a tough few years for the Bollman family, and even more so for Al. He suffered a second stroke in April, which took use of his right side. The first stroke he had in 2013 took use of his left side, and while he had made some strides in recovery, the second stroke took that away. He can no longer walk, sit up, or take care of the everyday things that we all take for granted. He has been at HealthSouth Rehabilitation center, in between stays at the hospital for various medical reasons. Unfortunately, his insurance has run out, and he can no longer stay at HealthSouth, which means has to come home Saturday, June 20. In order for him to come home and have an easy transition, there are things that are necessary; such as a wheel chair ramp, medical supplies, and most importantly a 24 hour nurse, which the insurance will not cover. This is essential to making sure he is monitored carefully and has the standard of care he deserves. We are asking for any kind of donation you can make to help him have the things he needs. No amount is too small. We appreciate all of you and all of the help you have given us, as well as the thoughts and prayers.
