On Saturday morning, December 21st 2019 I woke up with devastating news. My father was brutally murdered. At 4:30 a.m. a man shot him and he was pronounced dead at the scene. An autopsy said Albino Vazquez died of the gunshot wound to the face. His death was ruled a homicide. My father was the most funniest, caring, hard-working, friendly, but most importantly he was my best friend. Everyday I wake up thinking it is all just a bad dream. Reality has not hit me yet that I have lost my best friend, my partner in crime, and my protector. He was taken too soon from us. 

El sábado por la mañana, 21 de diciembre de 2019, me desperté con noticias devastadoras. Mi padre fue brutalmente asesinado. A las 4:30 a.m., un hombre le disparó y fue declarado muerto en la escena. Una autopsia dijo que Albino Vázquez murió de la herida de bala en la cara. Su muerte fue declarada homicidio. Mi padre era el más divertido, cariñoso, trabajador, amigable, pero lo más importante era mi mejor amigo. Todos los días me despierto pensando que todo es solo un mal sueño. Pero en realidad no puedo crear que hasta hoy e perdido a mi mejor amigo, mi compañero en el crimen y mi protector. Nos lo quitaron demasiado pronto.
