As many of you will know by now, we sadly and very suddenly lost our colleague and friend in the payroll team last week.

Over the last 18 months Albert had become a key part of the payroll team, his kindness and helpfulness along with his meme worthy t-shirts and ability to always find the perfect GIF in any scenario made him a joy to work with daily.

Despite being located at the Poland office, he was a huge part of our day-to-day life here in London with a team call every day and working closely with each member of the team on payrolls and payments. We have felt his loss drastically the last week and will continue to miss his happy presence.

I was lucky enough to meet him in person on a trip to Poland last year and I am very grateful for the lovely memories and laughs he brought us on the trip – some pictures can be found here

Many of you will have spoken to Albert regularly whether that be for audit reports, overseas payments or LSP invoices and I’m sure you’ll all agree that he was always so polite and a real pleasure to work with.

I spoke to Albert’s mum last week and discussed the possibility of raising money in Albert’s name for a cause close to his heart, she has asked if we would be willing to help a close friend of Albert who has multiple sclerosis and has a privately paid physio therapist every day, which as you can imagine is costly.

As such we’ve setup a fundraising page to raise money for his friend in Albert's memory – if you would like to contribute, please do so.
