Hello. My name is Tabatha Torres Garcia. I am the wife of Alberto Torres Garcia. Alberto was born November 13th 1968 and he passed away December 15th 2022. his cause of death is still a mystery as we're still waiting for toxicology reports to come back. He had one son still surviving and one who has passed before him. He is also survived by his mother, Reyna, and father, Alberto. He had many who loved him and will miss him sincerely.
If you knew Alberto, then you knew of his passion and love for animals. He definitely loved animals more than people.
I'm creating this fund to request assistance to help pay for his cremation and his memorial and if we raise enough money, I might even be able to send him home back to Mexico City to be with his family. Anything helps. I'm not asking for thousands or millions of dollars. If everyone could just pitch in a few dollars, that would be extremely helpful. I would like to ultimately start a fund to help a cat foundation or something in his name and for his memorial, we will probably have it at a park, maybe release some balloons, say some some words about him and maybe a reception afterwards, the details are still in the works. The amount needed for the cremation alone is approximately $1, 500. So that is the goal that I'm trying to reach at this time, anything beyond that will go toward the memorial and possibly getting his ashes back home to his family.
