Hi my name is Felicia, I’m Alberto’s youngest daughter and I’m here asking for help.

My dad passed away morning of Dec 21 and we need help with cost of flying him back to Alaska from Oregon.

I’m here asking for help because my dad’s wishes are to be back in Alaska close to my mother- his destiny, his vieja. My mother, for those who might not know her name is Alice. Those two were the ideal of a couple to me, even with the ups and downs. Still, after her passing he always made sure to think of her and bring up any story he could about her because of how much he loved and missed her.

I want to make his wishes come true for that, and this is all so sudden. He went to lay his mother to rest in Texas (my grandma Santos) and couple of days later he went to the ER and they told him he might have cancer. The day after thanksgiving we had test results confirming Classic Hodgkin’s Lymphoma

3 days after thanksgiving is when all of this happened, he went into the emergency room with a TIA (mini stroke) and then stuff just kept happening more and more and him getting put into hospice because he HATES being in the hospital.

The hospital decided to ask to hold a meeting to discuss dad’s wishes and since me and him were talking about it, he said he wanted to be as close to my mom/his vieja as possible. With him being a Vietnam Vet he said the military should pay for the funeral and him be on base in Alaska at the cemetery there.

So the funeral we shouldn’t have an issue (that we know of so far) it’s getting him from Oregon to Alaska is the struggle .

My dad is the strongest funniest most active most wisest person I know and he has done so much for our family. I don’t know what we would have do without him.
