My name is Laura Tartaro-McGowan I am fundraising in memory of Albert Sweat and his family. On Thursday 8/18/22 according to WUSA9 Albert Sweat was walking in the parking lot at 7 Corners when an accident on Wilson Blvd occurred he was subsequently struck and killed. I have never met Albert nor do I know much about him. Somehow I feel compelled by listening to his sister Renee Jackson to request a GoFundMe for his funeral expenses and to help support his family left behind.

Albert was a kind and generous man who loved playing instruments especially guitar according to his sister.
