Albert Sonier hit by a car while in his wheelchair

Financial assistance is being requested by his sister and guardian Lisa Reek to help cover the unexpected burial arrangements. Al was a lifelong Bristol resident known and loved by many. He was afflicted with Spina Bifida and Intellectual Disabilities from birth and utilized an electric wheelchair to get around town. He did not have life insurance. He was a HUGE Bristol Blues baseball fan! He passed away on 3/16/2024 after 13 days in the ICU fighting to overcome his injuries from being hit by a car on West St., Bristol on 3/3/2024. If you would consider donating to this cause, it would be greatly appreciated by Lisa and his family in recognition of the happiness he brought to so many in the Bristol community. Public receiving hours with the family will be on held on Sunday, March 24 from 7:00- 9:00 P.M. at Funk Funeral Home, located on 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol CT. A private burial will be at the family's convenience.
