Family, friends and acquaintances, it is with an extremely heavy heart that we announce the passing of our beloved, Albert Martinez Sr.
We will not speak of him in past-tense because we know his spirit and memory will live on within all that love and care for him.
A month ago, he suffered a major stroke which left him unable to speak, aspirate on his own and paralyzed the left side of his body. He was in the ICU for weeks and he fought hard. He was resilient and pushed through; with each passing day, and with family by his side, he was able to communicate and eventually was able to come home with assistance.
This morning on 08/13/2025, after spending the last few days, peacefully sleeping, he was called Home. His body and soul finally at rest, in his home surrounded by love.
He leaves behind his beloved Honey, Delia Martinez, who he has been happily married to for over 50 years. They have 3 children; Albert Jr, Roxann and Tony and 9 grandchildren who he absolutely adores.
He has touched countless lives and brought so much love to anyone who was lucky enough to come across his path. From taking in friends and family to being there whenever anyone needed him, always just a phone call away.
This time, he needs your help. Funeral expenses are setting the family back well over $6,000 and any donation is appreciated. Combined with fundraisers, we hope to get enough to lay him to rest.
