My name is Albert Clark, I am raising money to reclaim my home. I am in a fight to pay the lien on my home. A lawyer from out of the state has purchased the title of my home and is requiring me to pay $30,000 by mid-August in order to get my home back, as well as the title company who closed on my home wants me to pay $20,000. This has been an ongoing battle. I have utilized all of the resources that are available to me and I have been denied. Not only have I been fighting the battle with my home, but I have also been fighting the battle with cancer. As a citizen in New Orleans, it is too common for companies to allow the purchase of homes of their fellow citizens. I have had this home for so many years and worked so hard to keep it. Covid stopped me from working, and soon as I was able to, I got diagnosed with cancer. I am doing chemotherapy and raising two kids at the same time. I have two girls, they are the ages of 10 and 8 and I want to be able to leave something behind for them so they know that they weren't ever forgotten. Please any amount is greatly appreciated.
