Albany's First PC & Gaming Lounge

Hello everyone! We are Jordan and Jarred of Arcway Gaming. We currently host gaming events and travel all over the state for tournaments.

*Disclaimer: We are looking to secure a Business Loan, but we need $5,000 to secure the loan, and we are asking for $10,000 for any hiccups that may occur down the road.

We meet a lot of different people during events, whether it’s students, parents, or just people who enjoy playing games, and some consistent issues that come up are that most people can’t afford most modern electronics or the software needed for simple things like school projects or work assignments. We are currently working on making a welcoming social space where people can access higher-end PCs with programs like the Adobe Suite products at a meager cost when the barrier to entry would otherwise be thousands of dollars. On top of PCs that will be available for use, there will also be spaces for tabletop games (such as D&D, Risk, Chess, UNO, etc.), modern and retro console games (from Nintendo64 to all present-day consoles), Virtual Reality, gaming tournaments, community events, and a lot more in the works.

We already own a good portion of the needed equipment but are still a hefty distance away from where we would like to be. We have decided to start a go-fund-me in the hopes that we will be able to speed up the process much faster and afford a higher quantity of higher-end electronics to be available much closer to opening. Even if we reach a fraction of the goal, we will at least be able to start sooner and be able to provide a taste of what will be available to the capital region. We would be highly grateful if you could, at the very least, be able to share this with a friend or family member who might be interested in anything we have planned to offer.

We are currently looking into one space and working on having new renders made. Things could change depending on how things go with the location and finances, but we have it as our number one priority to make this happen.

ABOUT US:

Jordan has 15+ years of experience in marketing and sales and 10+ years of videography and editing skills. He has training in talking to people with diverse backgrounds and experiences with effective communication. Cheerful and helpful individual; determined to increase group motivation. Practical communication skills to ensure a job gets done on time and each team member is on the same page.

Jarred has 5+ years of experience in marketing and sales and 5+ years of Information Technology Support experience. He is a certified HP technician and specializes in resolving technical issues, maintaining hardware and software installations, and improving IT systems.
