Alayna Thach's Funeral

Our beloved Alayna Thach has passed away, taken too soon at the tender age of 17 years young. Alayna is a senior in high school with an anticipated graduation of June 2022. Alayna had aspirations of helping others by becoming a life coach. True to her nature, she was always willing to assist those in need. Her optimistic view of the world enlightened those around her. Alayna was always smiling and cheerful, she loved to sing to share her joy. Her infectious smile can warm your heart and soul from a distance. Alayna will be leaving behind her mother Chantha, her father Boye, her sister Emma and brother Vance. 

 

Alayna started getting sick from Covid only a week ago, she developed Covid Pneumonia where her lungs and heart collapsed along with the rest of her organs causing severe brain damage from hypoxia. Her care team responded with life support procedures in attempt to save her. All medical options were exhausted before her body became too weak to continue her battle with Covid.

 

This gofundme is created to assist with Alayna's funeral expenses. The funeral and services will be held at Wat Khmer Palelei on Saturday, December 18, 2021 and cremation on Sunday, December 19, 2021 at West Laurel Hill Cemetery. With our deepest gratitude we thank you for any amount that you are able to contribute towards the expenses during this difficult time.
