Hey! My name is Alayna. I've been doing mission work in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement in Western Uganda since 2023. Now, I live here full time. I volunteer for an organization called CIYOTA, whose mission is "educating conflict-affected children and youth to lead and rebuild communities" in Uganda and the DR Congo. I aim to help develop CIYOTA's donor relations and sponsorship department. I work directly with students and sponsors to make sure communication is being passed accurately and donor funds are being used correctly, as well as to facilitate student-sponsor relationships. I also continue to build close relationships and to open conversations about the gospel with students and staff of CIYOTA, as well as community members. I have been focusing strongly on prayer this year, which has been proving to make the strongest impact in individual lives. Thank you so much for your support!
