Ala-stache

Hey all! This is Nate, and I’m challenging you to a mustache competition.
After a three-year cancer battle, our good friends Jessa and Dave recently lost their 16-year-old son, Alastair. Alastair was a soccer player with a dream of becoming a marine biologist and maybe the only kid at 14 I’ve met who could grow some serious lip foliage.
One of Alastair's wishes was that there be a celebration of his life party instead of a funeral. So in alignment with that, we are asking for your help by joining us in celebrating a great kid and a mustache master, by rocking your own mustache for Alastair, or as we call it, the Ala-stache.
We first got the Ala-stache idea as a way to raise money towards his last wish to go scuba diving for the first time since he would never get to be that marine biologist. Sadly the months we thought he had quickly changed to weeks and then just days, and unfortunately, we never got the time we needed.
So here's the plan. Whether you knew Alastair or not, we want to see your best Cookie Duster! If you can’t grow it, paint it, stick it, or take a picture with a random face fitting at a store. Please send us a picture of that grass grin while holding up his soccer number 3!
As you can imagine, the financial toll has been significant over the past three years. So if you want to do even more, there’s a link below to donate. Or even better, I’m guessing you know of a company or individual who wants to sponsor that killer lip foliage you know you want to grow. I will start with me and my company, Bonneville Family Practice pledging 1 dollar for every mustache picture sent in!
I have little doubt that wherever you are, you’re rocking one bad-ass stache! So let this be our way of saying, "Alastair, we love and miss you. Thank you for blessing the lives of many over the past 16 years.".
