Hi, I’m Darlene Iriarte, President of the Association of Latinx Students (ALAS) at Loyola University Maryland. On behalf of our organization, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in raising awareness and funds for the Venezuelan people affected by the recent earthquake and the ongoing humanitarian crisis.
Our organization is committed to supporting and raising awareness of Latinx/Hispanic culture and people.
100% of the funds will be donated to The International Rescue Committee (IRC), an organization dedicated to helping people survive, recover, and rebuild their lives after humanitarian emergencies. Through the IRC, your donation will help provide critical assistance to families in need, including:
- Essential health care services for vulnerable communities.
- Educational opportunities and resources that help children continue to learn and thrive.
- Emergency relief and long-term support for families working to rebuild their lives.
