Hello everyone, My name is Hayley and I've been a neighbour to Alan for 30+ years. Sadly this morning Alan passed away. He was our communities un-sung local hero who asked for nothing from no-one. He cleaned the park, streets, pathways of snow and put salt down. My family was his family and Melton was his family too. Alan was well known in melton and he only ever had 1 wish. That wish was to always be with his mum. If we as a community can raise £2,500 to give Alan the send off he deserves and then we can lay him to rest peacefully with his mum. Please give if you can.
