Hello, my name is Lauren Jean-Baptiste. Due to the greatest of unfortunate circumstances, my beautiful baby girl has made her way into heaven April 8th, 2022. She entered this world February 12th, 2022, just two days from being a Valentine’s Day baby. She was a healthy born premature baby, full of so much life and personality. Despite the doctors concerns with her being premature, she came out kicking, crying, head full of hair, and eyes wide open. She was so perceptive early on, ready to take on the world with her feistiness.

We discovered she had NEC (Necrotizing Enterocolitis), not by the doctors who were supposed to be caring for her, but through my own research. Based on their course of action, the symptoms she was displacing, etc. We don’t medically know the exact reasoning behind her getting NEC, but I do know things were done too late. She held in there and fought as long as she could, but there was too much damage done to her intestines. There were so many inconsistencies, unanswered questions, and carelessness on the medical professionals’ behalf. Now, we ask for assistance on burying me and my man’s child, our princess in heaven, my first born. Thank you so much for your time and consideration.
