Alana's House Fire fund
Donation protected
Alana Simmons is one of the hardest working women in the world- I'm sure of it. The same week that she received her Masters degree in Music Education, she closed on her first home in Hampton, VA. Unfortunately, on January 13th, 2015 - just 8 months after moving in- her home and possessions were taken from her due to an electrical fire with her HVAC system. Alana's attic and roof are beyond repair and must be replaced. The remainder of the home and all of Alana's possessions suffered extreme water damage.
We are thankful that Alana only came out with minor lung injuries. However, the emotional stress of watching her first home ruined less than a year after it was purchased is devastating.
Friends, fellow ECSU vikings, Virginians, member of Delta Sigma Theta, and those that do not know Alana but just have a heart- I am reaching out today hoping you are able to donate any amount to my sister and friend. Currently she needs the basics like clothes, food, and other living expenses. In the future she will need help with the larger expenses and maybe even "hands on deck". Thank you in advance for your prayers, your love, and your donations. God bless.
