Alana's Surgery

Donation protected
Our Alana was born with a rare condition called VATERS syndrome. This means she was born with half of her esophagus missing, spinal problems, kidney issues and an entire GI track abnormality. She has had over 80 esophageal surgeries which are required to keep her esophagus open so she can swallow food, she was tube fed until she was 6 years old. We recently found out that she has a tethered spinal cord which means that her spinal cord isnt able to stretch like it should so it is causing pain in her back, and bladder and kidney issues. We see her neurosurgeon in 2 weeks to discuss plans. Help would go towards medical expenses that have accumulated and so we can get her the best care that's available since she has been through so much in her 10 years of life. We are trying to get to Boston children's hospital and get help with flights and second opinion cost of out of state fees, and also medical cost. We truly thank you for your help and we are very appreciative of the prayers. Thank you all in advance she is truly our fighter.
