Alan went down on his BMX bike

Our longtime friend, Alan Shirley, went down on his bike recently and has had numerous surgeries since. He is home, but unfortunately can't put pressure on his leg for six weeks. Once he gets through this sedentary phase, he'll have to go through rehab to bring strength back to his leg within a long road to recovery.

Despite his situation, Alan has remained positive, has been going on daily wheelchair walks with his wife Beth, who has been getting him out of the house to appreciate the nature that surrounds them where they live in St. Pete.

If you know Alan, ridden his ramp, or been around him, you know he is 100% BMX and down for the session and good times.

Unfortunately, this injury has put a financial burden on he and his family.

If you could spare anything to help get him back on his feet and rolling on 20s, we know he would appreciate it.
