Alan Sherer's Memorial Fund

On September 29th we lost an amazing man, Alan Sherer. As a husband to my sister, Brenda Sherer as well as her best friend and friend and mentor to many, he was a humble man who dedicated his life to his family and friends and being of service to others, always sharing what he had and never hesitating at the opportunity to support and build others up. Alan was an active leader in the Maryland community, was a member of Rotary for 24 years serving various roles in the College Park Rotary Club and the current President of the Columbia Town Center Rotary Club, supported his beloved University of Maryland Terrapins, Baltimore Ravens and Baltimore Orioles and gave back wherever he could. His death was so unexpected and was not at all anticipated. Brenda has spent the last twelve years taking care of Alan and many family members through difficult times and now we want to do all we can to support her in this difficult time and help her recover from his devastating death. Please give what you can to help cover his medical expenses, funeral cost, and whatever else she will need.
