Alan Schaub’s Memorial Fund: a beloved community healer.

Donation protected
It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved Alan, a devoted father and husband, a cherished brother, and a dear friend and counselor to so many, including the youth in our community. He was a healer, a mentor, and an empath, always offering a compassionate heart and a wise, inquisitive mind to those in need. A true wizard and sage, he had a beautiful light that shined brightly, touching everyone around him and making the world better with his presence. His gentle-hearted nature, creativity, and unwavering love made him a pillar of strength for his family, friends, and clients. Alan worked in mental health as a counselor and also brought enlightenment to those in his community. He had a heart for those around him, and our community will miss him in his absence. Anyone who had the great honor of having him as their counselor will tell you he helped them get through some of the most difficult times in their lives with grace and healing. Alan held a space of safety—emotionally and physically—giving people the opportunity to be vulnerable and share intimacies and their difficulties like no one else could. Alan had so many gifts that he shared with all who came upon his path.

As we mourn this incredible soul’s passing from his earthly presence, we wish to honor his legacy with a farewell as meaningful as the life Alan lived. We have created this GoFundMe to help cover funeral expenses and support his loved ones in this difficult time. Any donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden for his wife Amber and family, and allow us to celebrate his life with the love and respect he so deeply deserved. If you are unable to give, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us. Thank you for your prayers, kindness, and support. Please share your memories of our dear Alan here as well.
