Dear Friends,
Many of you know that our beloved father, husband, grandfather, friend, Alan, is suffering from life-threatening complications from sepsis brought on from severe pancreatitis. Right now he is fighting for his life in the Brookwood Medical Center MICU.
As a family, we are praying 24 hours a day for Alan's survival and recovery. Alan is the true pillar to our family and such an important part of the Birmingham community. As a nurterer and lover of life, he sees poetry and beauty in everything. Alan's kindness, humor, joy, and wisdom touches everyone he encounters. He is the treasured father of 5 grown children and proud grandfather of 7 grandbabies, with one more on the way.
Alan's soulmate, best friend, and wife, Beth is by Alan's side constantly at the hospital. Neither of them should have to deal with financial burden on top of dealing with these devestating circumstances. Any and all support towards their rapidly mounting expenses will help tremendously.
