Alan Oakes - Motor Neurone Disease

Hi I am fund raising for Alan Oakes many of you probably know him from playing football he may have fitted your windows and he is also a regular watching the Linnets down at the Walks, we are also looking to support the Motor Neorone Disease Charity . Alan is 50 and has 3 sons Daniel Kieran and Reuben . Reuben is only 12 and is determined to raise money for his dad. Alan was diagnosed in October 2021 and has steadily lost the use of his limbs and sadly now is losing his voice, due to requiring around the clock total care Alan has moved into a care home. We are fund raising to assist with Alan’s quality of life and to ensure he can communicate with his family for as long as he can. This is a heart breaking time for Alan and his family and the added financial implications make this a living nightmare. Any donation however small can help us reach our goal and show Alan and his boys that people care, they need all the love they can get at this terrible time in their lives, please read up about Motor Neurone Disease it’s incurable and can strike anyone at any time.
