Hello, My name is Alex Lugo and I’m raising funds for my brother Alan Lugo’s medical expenses. How the Grinch Stole Christmas! On 12/21/2022 just three days before what is supposed to be the happiest season of all, my brother Alan suffered a massive frontal lobe Aneurysm (AMV) requiring an immediate brain surgery within hours. His wife Wendy, daughter Keila, and son Allen found him lying unresponsive and convulsing on the grass in front of their beautiful home where he was moments prior. My brother was transported to St. Marys Hospital in Waterbury, CT and after countless CT scans, X-rays, MRIs, and blood work he was diagnosed with severe bleeding in the brain. Only after being sedated into a medical coma, he was later airlifted to Yale New Haven Hospital for immediate surgery. He is currently in the ICU sedated, intubated, fighting for his life, and in need of further extensive treatment and care for the next few weeks and months to come. Neurosurgeons and the medical staff at the hospital have informed our family of additional life threatening procedures and surgeries in the upcoming weeks. Needless to say, our family is experiencing a tremendous amount of adversity along with unprecedented medical expenses during this holiday season and months to come. My brother the trucker, a loving father of three, a husband, a son, an uncle, and great friend needs your support in this moment of hardship. If you please feel so inclined to help and support our family, we kindly and humbly respect any donations and most importantly your prayer. We appreciate all efforts during our season. Thank you for your support and may the lord bless you multiple times in return.
