Many of you know Alan Howell but do you really know the man.
Alan Howell gives of his time to others in numerous ways. He mentors future athletic trainers and physical therapists. He has volunteered his time to numerous schools, including Mount Saint Joseph University, Finneytown High School, Anderson High School, Princeton High School and many other schools in the community. He is a member of several national physical therapy organizations. He is the State Affairs Chair for the Ohio Physical Therapy Association, where he works for patients rights. He has traveled relentlessly as an athletic trainer during multiple Olympics. He is in the Ithaca College Athletic Hall of Fame. It was at Ithaca where he was an All-American in Lacrosse. He has taken his lacrosse knowledge and has spent countless hours helping lacrosse programs all over the country.
And in Alan's free time, he owns and operates the Howell Rehab Center. Howell Rehab is a private, family run company that has been in business for 20 plus years. There are two Howell Rehab locations. Alan's wife Chris is the CEO and his stepson, Drew Burchett, who is a Doctor of Physical Therapy runs the Delhi location. Alan has rehabbed 1000's of patients in his years as a PT and AT. Most people do not know but many, many times he gives advice and rehabs people outside of the clinic. You may be one of those individuals that he has given to so freely. He does it on his own time, simply because Alan genuinely cares for people. He will go out of his way to help everyone.
Alan has touched many lives and helped many people. As someone who has worked for the Howell Rehab Center for awhile now and has known them personally for years, I am asking for you help. I am reaching out to those of you Alan may have helped, worked with or know Alan and asking you to help Alan and the Howell Rehab Center. Howell Rehab is still opened for business but the company has taken a huge financial hit with the coronavirus pandemic. Many of the patients we see on a regular basis are susceptible to this virus and should continue to shelter in place. The Howell Rehab Center desires to stay in business when this crisis is over and wants to be here for many years to come. That is where you come in. I know right now is a strain for everyone but if Alan or anyone at the Howell Rehab Center has helped you in anyway, we are asking that you help them in whatever way you can. They need your support to continue to keep the clinics open and continue to provide the best care in Cincinnati. The money we raise will all go directly to the Howell Rehab Center's day-to-day expenses. Howell Rehab has made all of the necessary adjustments to cut costs but there simply isn't enough money coming in right now to guarantee their longevity. So please, if you have anything extra at this time please consider helping Alan, Chris, Drew and the rest of the staff at the Howell Rehab Center!
Thank you and here's to your continued health!
