Big Al passed away peacfully in his sleep on 04/02/17. As his ex (Kerry Sheehan) my best friend for more years than I can count he finally seemed to be in a good place. As his son Cody was notified as next of kin, Kerry proceeded to notify Al's key family members (one in person) who graciously thanked her. She was told that she could do as she liked but there was no interest on their part in participating and/or facilitating Al's journey to the next realm. No one else has reached out to her or Cody. Big Al is Cody's Dad and Kerry is a woman who can't help but do the right thing, which is why she will be claiming Big Al's body and having a cremation performed. The ashes will be made into something of significance through another website and cherished by Cody forever. Kerry has had her own health issues and supports her household solo, I am asking all of youu that have expressed your sympathy for Al's passing to contribute what you can to offset the cost of this for her. We need to raise 1200.00 to clear the 1100.00 to cover the cremation with no service : the alternative is that the state keeps Al's remains and after a set time period he is cremated and the ashes disposed of. Those of us who know and love Kerry & Cody and who knew and loved Al can and should not let this happen. A few dollars from evryone and our goal is reached. May God bless Al and his soul and may he finally be at peace! The response has been more than we could have ever expected. All of the funds raised will be used toward a proper and loving final tribute to Big Al...for his spirit and for Kerry, for his son Cody and for all of you to be proud to say that they and you were a part of!!
