On Saturday 1/31/2015, a 4-alarm fire broke out in the Western Addition, in the Alamo Square neighborhood, at McAllister and Scott, and affected 17 units in four residential buildings.  At least 25 people have been displaced, including families with small children.

ASNA has started a fire fund to help our neighbors get back on their feet.  We thank you for your generosity during this time, since the rebuilding process takes years and some of our neighbors lost everything.
