Alaisia Smith was the 17 year old sweet beautiful daughter of Denise Howard and Wally Smith. Alaisia sustained a tragic gun shot wound to the right side of her head which rendered her brain dead on Saturday, June 8th. She remained on life support at CAMC until the early morning on Wednesday, June 12th.
If you have ever met Alaisia, you know she loved people and was always willing and wanting to help all those around her. She has such a sweet soul with an infectious laugh. Alaisa had her heart set on becoming a RN and helping others after she graduated from high school. Alaisa was also a proud organ donor and because of her, she will live on in the lives of so many recipients.
