Alaire's Top Surgery Fund

Hello dear ones!

After years of struggling with dysphoria, I'm finally getting the gender affirming care I need! My top surgery is scheduled for July 31st, 2023!!!! I've dreamed of this for so so long!!!! And, for the first time in my adult life, I have safe, stable housing, a job with good insurance, and an ability to take off work for 6 weeks to recover. I'm feeling grateful and blessed!

However, even with these massive privileges and my best efforts to save up, I can't afford the co-pay and rent for the month and a half I'm not working. I won't know my exact bill until after the surgery (bc insurance is a scam!), so I'm estimating the cost based on hours of conversations with my insurance and providers. I will pass on anything I don't need to another trans peron's top surgery fund and update this page to reflect that so there is full transparency.

Thank you so much for supporting this life saving surgery for me. I'm absolutely ecstatic to be able to actually picture a thriving future in a body I love. Anything you can give to help me get there will mean the world to me.
