This is our oldest daughter. Her name is Alainah. She is 34 yrs old, a mama of 2 beautiful babies. Chris is her true love. We are so thankful for him

At age 26 Alainah was diagnosed with stage 3c metastasized melanoma. She beat it!! However, the treatments caused damage to her lungs, as well as other issues. She developed COPD and is currently at stage 4. She just cant get air.

Last week her lungs failed. She was intubated and rushed by ambulance to Albany Med in Albany NY for the best pulmonary treatment. Today is day 3. There have been some improvements, but we have a very long road ahead of us.

They live about 2 hrs away from the hospital. Chris is at home with the kids at night but going every morning to be by her side and staying until they make him leave. Thankfully, his job is being very gracious and giving him the time off. Sadly, it is without pay.

They now have no income.
