Alaia Rodriguez was first diagnosed with Pilocytic astrocytoma ( brain tumor ) at the age of  3 months 1/2 . She then under went surgery at 4 months at Texas children’s hospital in Houston texas. Alaia is now 15months of age and has been taking  chemotherapy since then. she is about to start her 3rd treatment called everolimus and could possibly be her last. Her tumor seems to progress at a slow growth but will eventually cause symptoms and risks for Alaia’s health. We have been looking for different options for alaia so she can live a longer and healthy life since her last doctors appointment when we received disappointing news. Thankfully we were able to get in touch with Doctors at St.Judes Research Hospital in Tennessee.
