Hello Everyone! I am Jacqueline, Alaia’s Great Tia.
Some may know from my fb post and some may not know. We received life changing news on Monday Sept. 1, 2025 about my Great Niece Alaia Escobedo who is 3 yrs. old was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
We thought losing Alaia’s dad 10 months ago was the worst life changing news for Alaia and our family. Then to receive news that Alaia was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia.
Alaia has already had 3 procedures since Tuesday and has already started her Chemo Treatment Plan which may last anywhere from 2 yrs. To 2 1/2 yrs.
Alaia now has to live in Corpus the next 9 months for sure due to needing to be within 5 miles of the hospital. Then we can possibly go home in 9 months and just drive down to Corpus weekly for her Chemo Treatments. So Corpus will be home for us for sure the next 9 months.
I did take a leave of absence from work because I am the primary person who will be caring/staying with Alaia. It will start to get costly for her mom, my husband and Alaia’s grandparents to make trips up here, to maintain bills back at home plus to help with things Alaia will need and what I will need for myself.
Please do not feel obligated to make a donation. A simple prayer for Alaia and our family will also be greatly appreciated.
