Buy a Seat, Alabama Crew's New V8+

Over the past 3 years Alabama Crew has been fundraising and saving money to purchase new boats. Currently the majority of the boats in our fleet are close to 10 years old and while they are great boats it is our goal to move the varsity squad into newer, quicker, racing shells and the novice into the current varsity boats. For alumni, the novice would be moving up into the Tenacity, M2, Dixie and the C. Purchasing a slightly used 2009 Vespoli 8+ for our varsity team is now well within reach. We would like to give our alumni, parents, and supporters the opportunity to “buy a seat” in the new varsity 8+. 

Contributors of $350 (or more) will have their name, or a name of their choosing, appliquéd to the deck of one of the seats. This name will stay with the boat while it is rowed by the University of Alabama as a permanent testament to your contribution.

A contributor of $1,500 (or more) will have their name, or a name of their choosing, appliquéd to the bow of the boat. The boat will bear the name of your choosing in perpetuity.
