In 2015 the spring rain were more severe than in years coupled with a tropical storm,  the waters of Lake Texoma went over the spillway.  The American Legion Post 231 sits on the shore of Lake Texoma and was twice flooded by the rising waters. The Post was  demolished.  The Post is a center of activity for fundraising to help the Veterans and citizens of the area.  After insurance and  fundraising we are only halfway there. We are now asking for help.    All funds are deposited directly into The American Legion MIA Post 231 bank account to be used on the rebuilding of the Post.
