Al Shewan Memorial Scholarship for Marine Trades

Al was an advocate for professional development & took pride in all the apprentice’s successes at Platinum Marine. He was also very active with Scouts Canada in mentoring children & youth. He continued to seek out ways to improve whatever organization he participated in & will be sorely missed by people of all ages.

The Al Shewan Memorial Scholarship will be awarded to a student interested in pursuing further education within the recreational marine industry with Quadrant Marine Institute (QMI). Applicant preference will be given to current Platinum Marine Group employees & their family members.
