AL Post 135 FL Irma Restoration

Hardee R Mills American Legion Post 135 in Naples, FL was devastated by Hurricane Irma and has been closed since September 10, 2017.  Permits were finally received and construction commenced April 2018. We hope to re-open to serve the veterans and general public by late September 2018.  Current insurance proceeds will leave us $200,000 short of the restoration cost . A trust owns the building and leases it to us for $1 a year so a mortgage is an unavailable option. We hope this page along with our fundraising efforts locally will allow us to  serve our veterans and the charitable causes held dear since 1945.
