Hi, my name is Ann Drechsel and I am raising funds for my brother Al, who recently suffered a life-threatening stroke.

On April 17th Al had a severe stroke that almost took his life. He spent over three weeks at Southdale Hospital in the Neuro ICU ward.

He recently was released from ICU and put into a Chisago City Rehab Center. He is unable to speak, eat, walk, or take care of himself. He has minimal health insurance, and the cost of his ICU stay, medications, rehab and the ongoing treatment are piling up fast.

If there was a “Hall of Fame of Volunteers” at church, he would surely be at the top! He wants to be able to return to serve. He loves volunteering and spends many, many hours a week at church.
