Al Needs a New Place to Live!
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Victor and I am raising funds for my friend Al Musielewicz. Al is a senior citizen, who originally planned on living on a fixed income in public housing after retirement, and due to a bureaucratic miscommunication, is losing his current home on MARCH 1st - which is less than one month away.
Al is a devoted father and grandfather, a student of history and languages, a sometime pipe band member, and a dedicated historical miniatures game-player.
Al has medical expenses, a cat named Chairman Meow, a collection of books and games that he loves, and simply needs a new place to live. If enough of his friends and others who care about him made donations, he would be in great shape - but we need to act NOW.
All donations made between February 2nd and February 16th will help Al make the difficult transition to a new place to live. Additional money will help keep him in a better home. If Al doesn't get enough help, he will be evicted and have nowhere to live.
The median rent where Al lives is $1000 for a one-bedroom apartment. What he needs is 1st month's rent, a security deposit, and funds for actually moving. That means we need to raise $2500. That's where you come in.
The first $500 donated will be matched by an immediate group of friends, including Michael and Jean Mornard, and me, Victor Raymond. Please donate what you can. Thank you!
