Al Manning's unexpected passing

Donation protected
Hi,
My name is Denise Hites, cousin of Lori and Al Manning. Please join me in supporting the Manning family with your financial and spiritual support as they grieve the unexpected passing of their husband and father.

On December 11 at 10:52pm, Alan Manning went home to be with Jesus after a three-week struggle with Covid pneumonia.
On November 20, Al was admitted to the hospital with Covid-19. For a couple weeks, Al had ups and downs. Since Al was unable to have visitors, his family had been video conferencing with him 24-7, sharing scripture, encouraging words, stories, worship music, and many many
precious moments.  Al had a very attentive medical team every day. As you can imagine, everyone loved Al. On December 10, after full agreement with the medical team, Al needed
breathing assistance via a ventilator. We praise God that Al was not scared in these moments. He said, “God’s got this. My life is in His hands. Doctors, you guys aren’t working alone, He has
the wheel. He is my Savior.”
Many knew Al from the New Brighton area—through his involvement at Grace Point Church, his glory days in the Irondale Band (and class president for all you 1984 grads!), or his attentive care for his aging parents. Al and  Lori served together at Lost Timber Bible Camp in SW Minnesota
since they were in high school. He served as program director and most recently, President of the Board of Directors.
Al loved people. He believed the best about them and could light up a room with his joy and humor—on the dancefloor, blasting his trumpet, or grilling everyone’s favorite meat.
For 21
years, Al ran a graphic design and marketing agency, SOOP Café, conducting business matters
with the highest integrity.
Al has been an example to many through his marriage of 32 years to his lifelong best friend Lori and how he loved his four kids: Jacob, Katie, Andrea, and Emily.
We are asking first of all for prayer—for comfort and peace during this time of deep heartache. Al’s family will incur significant expenses from his time in the hospital, compounded by unknowns for the future of Al’s business, which was their main means of income. We are asking for monetary donations for the Manning family so that finances are a non-issue and they can completely focus on grieving and moving forward.

Be encouraged with Al’s family by this scripture, Psalm 139:
You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. . . . You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
