Our local community lost a great man yesterday. We are all devastated over the sudden passing of Al Lopez and are trying to accept life without him. We, at Keaty Real Estate, were lucky to have been blessed to work with Al for many years. Not only was Al one of the most knowledgeable and hardest working realtors in Acadiana, but he also dedicated so much of his time to various organizations. He was the president of the Realtor Association of Acadiana in 2006 and has received countless local, state, and national awards. Besides all of his many business achievements, what Al loved most was his family. He was a very proud father and grandfather. We can not imagine the pain and sense of loss his son, Andy, is feeling. The Keaty Real Estate family, along with his family and friends, will greatly miss his loving spirit and advice. Al had the best sense of humor and loved telling stories. He had such a kind heart and was willing to help anyone in need at any time. Life will be hard without Al. We will miss you, buddy.
