Unfortunately during surgery Al suffered a stroke. It's going to be a long road to recovery so my donation had to be raised due to missing work alot, paying bills, transportation and being able to feed myself. My heart goes out to everyone who has donated and especially prayers God is still in the miracle business and we're praying he recovers quickly. Any amount helps and every prayer is definitely welcomed. We are truly blessed with an amazing family and friends. God bless and much love tou you all ❤️

My name is Al Fricks. I've had 13 heart attacks since I was 39 years old. Im diagnosed with coronary artery disease, stage 4 congestive heart failure, type 2 diabetes and my heart is now only working 17%. I have a defibrillator and a barostim and now in the hospital with the LVAD heart pump installed. This is the last step before a heart transplant. God has definitely been with me through it all. Although this hospital stay is going to be a long one. They're saying I'll be here for 3 to 4 weeks. Im currently on the ventilator and in ICU. (This his his wife posting). Our bills are almost paid for this month, but we have alot more coming up for next month. My wife is currently working, but will be missing alot of days because we have to have classes on this pump. She will be traveling alot from Ellijay to Atlanta. We're asking for anything you can help with. I know it's hard on everyone at this time, bit every dollar will help.
