AL Cup Races Event Trailer

For years, all of the Alabama Cup Races equipment has lived in basements, garages, and spare rooms of multiple houses around the region. Yes, I said region, because it is all over the place. It takes almost a week to load, gather and locate everything we need to have a race. It requires personal trailers, not enclosed, from 3 or 4 folks to go around and pick everything up. Then after a very long weekend of working, organizing, and playing, we have to load everything up on said multiple trailers and deliver everything to its holding spot. This adds days to putting on the event.

We are looking to acquire and build out a 16 feet long enclosed trailer to house all of our stuff for both races. In the weeks before, the trailer can be loaded up with any additional supplies and be ready to arrive at the event site. The trailer rolls up, is unloaded. Afterwards, the trailer is loaded up and delivered to the parking spot.

The real reason for this trailer is that we want the races to continue for years to come and none of the organizers are getting any younger, especially Vander. It is a much easier event to put on if everything comes out of a box and we don’t have to pass down a treasure map in order to locate the poles, spreaders, big tent (with poles), registration tent, printer, tshirts, bibs, tables, chairs, cook pot, cooker, timing and scoring supplies, garbage cans, and the list goes on forever.
