Al & Ali’s Marathon Row

Al & Ali have decided to try to complete a marathon row and have been training away for the past few months - as some of you will have seen (sorry)! The marathon is just that, 42,195 metres on the concept 2 erg rowing machine, and should take us somewhere between 3-4 hours.

Al’s Mum has been fighting lymphoma (cancer of the lymph or immune system) and is the recipient of several new treatments which would not exist but for research by world-leading scientists in the field of cancer research. So we have decided to try to put our efforts to good cause and are raising money in aid of Cancer Research UK. If you are interested in contributing, every donation will help. Cancer Research UK is the world's leading charity dedicated to research on the causes, treatment and prevention of cancer. Thanks to research, more people are surviving cancer than ever before! Al & Ali are sitting their row on Saturday morning 16 December 2023. We are hoping that Third Space Soho will host us, so people can come join and support for the last 30 minutes or so and we can get drinks afterwards in Soho. Al is also going to try and set up a web-link for those in Aus who are bored enough to want to tune in!
